Where the @#!& Have You Been?

Yes, too long between entries, but this is due to my computer picking up such a nasty virus that the entire harddrive had to scrubbed and Windows 7 installed. So I'm navigating in uncharted territory, but I'm starting to get a feel for this new frontier., thanks to my computer guru Randy. The good news is that all of my applications like Nero seem to be working much better than before, so that's a step up. Unfortunately, a vital part of the software I use for production of MARK AND DEE got terminated, and I'm now lurking about to get this outrageously priced CD-ROM as cheap as I possibly can.

Oh, this above? Taken by our good friend Karen Bee during the Crossing's Open Mic Night, where I performed a tribute to Jimmy Durante singing "Try a Little Tenderness" to my wife Deena. This Sunday we're celebrating our 29th year of wedded something-or-other. I have discovered that there are three stages to this anniversary stuff: On the tenth, they say "Ten happy years of wedded bliss". On the twentieth, you get "20 amazing years of love, friendship, and contentment". As we're rapidly approaching No. 30, we're getting "Holy crap! 30 years and you still haven't killed each other???!!!" Well, it's not like we haven't tried...

So tonight we're heading north to Franklin High School auditorium for a cool show that will recreate the Golden Days of Radio featuring the Chordlighters. I love anything about the era I should have been born in, so we're both very excited about this.

For those of you missing the next installment of MARK AND DEE, sit tight. We'll be back up and running soon

The Doctor is In!

Just a little reminder that BBC America is running the entire sixth season at 7:00 AM beginning with the game-changing episode "The Impossible Astronaut". And at 9:00 PM EST, I'll be here live-blogging during "Asylum of the Daleks" in the commentary. Looking forward to a fun evening as the remnants of Isaac fly over our heads!
